Shamanic Practice

“And into the forest I go, to lose my mind, and find my soul,” John Muir

In some parts of the world – the practice of shamanism is so historically renowned and respected that it’s a first line therapy for many of its people.

At its core, the practice of shamanism recognises that our real world needs and challenges all have spiritual aspects, and it involves journeying to other worlds and realms to obtain guidance from our spirit helpers.

The benefits of this work can include a sense of lightness and clarity, the confidence to make necessary life changes, a greater sense of wholeness and wellbeing, increased vitality and immunity, and a stronger connection to your soul and purpose.

Tibetan Sound Bowls

“Music begins where the possibilities of language end” - Jean Sebelius

Tibetan sound bowls have been used in sound therapy for thousands of years.

The body has its own natural resonance, and vibrational medicine or sound therapy is based on the idea that disease is a result of those natural resonances being out of tune.

Similar to tuning – sound therapy works to gently release blockages to rebalance our equilibrium. The process itself can be deeply hypnotic and relaxing.

Singing bowls are placed on the body, and when tapped they release a wave of vibration that has both a harmonising and energising impact on our cells.

The process of healing is deeply personal so no two people will have the same treatment or experience.

Booking a session with Spirit Connect will assist you to reconnect to your essence, the part of you that wants what's best for you.  We work on resetting your vibrational force from a cellular level to promote calmness, clear decision making and clarity of your true inner voice, one that is not based on fear, in order to live a life with joy and purpose.

Together we consider your intentions, assess your state, and seek divine input before accessing the most suitable path and modality. Your session may be in-person or remote booking which is just as powerful and may involve one or more of the following therapies:

Tuning Forks

“Future medicine will be the medicine of frequencies,” Albert Einstein

Up to 70 per cent of the human body is water. Between our liquid make up and energy content, the currents that run through us are profound. When blockages exist, our frequency is disrupted and this can greatly effect our state of being, resulting in physical afflictions.

Tuning forks can be set to a vibrational frequency that matches that of our natural state. As tuning forks are moved along your body they can detect resistance and blockages, which may require work to gently shift.

The outcomes of tuning fork therapy can be improved focus, relaxation helpful for insomnia, enhanced immunity, relief from aches and pains or skin afflictions, and positive clearing of your energy field.

“Reiki is love, love is wholeness, balance is wellbeing, wellbeing is freedom from disease” Dr Mikao Usui

Usui Reiki was first developed in Japan by Mikao Usui and has been adapted into various cultural practices since.

It acknowledges the significance of energy transfer in the process of healing. We begin by setting an intention, then drawing energy in and allowing it to flow to where is needed.

The many benefits of Reiki include: stress reduction, pain relief, boosts mood and clears emotional energy. It reduces anxiety and depression, PMS and speeds the healing of injuries and post surgery recovery.
